Just starting this off, thought I'd list a few of my favourites to get things going ....
Here (in no particular order) are my favs:
*TEXT - *scrubbers*, Norf London, Richard E Grant, Paul McGann, genius Bruce Robinson stuff *TEXT - Simply a masterpiece *TEXT - Mrs Wilberforce I salute you! (dear Lord, please don't let Hollywood get their grubby hands on this one) *TEXT (oh the lovely, lovely Tim Robbins) * TEXT - The Cat Stevens song is just wonderful - makes you just want to go out and live life to the fullest * TEXT - simply beautiful (Mathieu Kassovitz the genius that he is and the beautiful Audrey Tatou - Nice to know that I am not alone in turning around to watch other people watching films in theatres, skimming stones and getting annoyed when people in films don't pay attention in a car driving scene) * TEXTTEXT - Gene Wilder and co - absolutely brilliant *TEXT - I love this version - I know Johnny Depp is fantastic, but why bother re-doing it? [sings] 'I've got a golden ti-cket'... *TEXT - possibly my favourite of all horror films because it's funny and ghastly all at the same time. * TEXT - yep there is a Roald Dahl thing going on - but really only this and the above films - Loved this book as a child and still do - one of my greatest complements was from a young charge who told me she thought I was like 'miss honey' - who needs ofsted with a complement like that ... Pam Ferris is brilliantly horrid as Trunchbull .... How's that for starters [said in the style of Matthew Waterhouse-character-from-off-'Little-Britain']

Okay - so the bold thing isn't working - a kind of game there - guess the title of the film I'm referring to - the horror one is 'Theatre of Blood' - and the Cat Steves tune one is 'Harold and Maude', but you can guess the rest of them ....

The masterpiece is 'Kind hearts and Coronets' although that could equally apply to the back catalogue of Christopher Guest films - just watched 'best in show' and laughted so much i had snorted tea out of my nose (i know too much information) .. still to see 'mighty wind' .. and spinal tap .. well, simply a classic ....

And I've just read that and was going to reveal that I could tell it was Harold and Maude and look all clever, but then you did it anyway.
There's a million things to be..
Aw, man.
Oh, and you do know The Coen Brothers have ALREADY remade The Ladykillers, don't you?
